My thoughts on the Confederate Flag and Symbols:
I believe that our history is important and should be remembered in an HISTORICAL CONTEXT. For example, that flag should fly at Confederate veteran's cemeteries and Civil War museums. It should also be flown during Civil War re-enactments.
It should NOT be part of a current state flag, be flown in your yard to piss people off, or be a patch on your jacket or on top of your car (I loved the Dukes of Hazzard too as a kid).
Still, why is this conversation happening NOW over the actions of a lunatic ??
