Obama... the gift that keeps on giving. Why that's how they did/do it in Communist countries so why not here ?? In addition if you choose not to vote for S̶t̶a̶l̶i̶n̶ err D̶e̶a̶r̶ ̶L̶e̶a̶d̶e̶r̶ err our beloved President, you get an all expense paid trip to t̶h̶e̶ ̶G̶u̶l̶a̶g̶ err a nice place to teach you the error of your ways.

My Feelings about Police Brutality

I have been very outspoken against the militarization of the police and the more aggressive police training of late however most must agree that the vast majority of police officers are good people with a very difficult job.
You cannot paint all police with the same brush and regarding police brutality, it depends on the case. In the Ferguson case, the "victim" made a lot of bad decisions that ended with him being shot and the grand jury (with african american members) found insufficient evidence to indict the police officer. On the other hand, the case in NY where 3 police tackled that guy for selling cigarettes and choking him to death was clear cut brutality and the officer who choked him SHOULD be charged.
Everyone needs to remember that this holiday season if someone is breaking into your home or is following you and you are scared, who are you going to call ??? That's right these same maligned police will come and help you---we should never forget that.

My Thoughts on Why there are Mass Shootings in the US

Due to horrible abuses of the past and the cost, states all closed down the long term mental health care facilities in this country except those for the criminally insane which are quasi prisons. The problem is what happens to those who need long term mental health care ??
Most end up homeless on the streets or in jail. Ever wonder why 50+ years ago there were as many guns as now but there were NEVER mass shootings---why ??
Fifty years ago these people (mostly paranoid schizophrenics) were in long term care and were no longer a danger to themselves or others. Look into the history of the shooters and you will see in almost every case someone who has been in and out of mental health facilities and the doctors have said that they are a danger to themselves and others but there is no where to send them for long term care. So they give them drugs and send them on their way. The person stops taking the drugs, becomes psychotic and plans and commits a mass shooting. THAT'S the cause of these things and society is paying the price one way or another.

Obama Doesn't Need No Senate

Article II, Section 2, Clause 2 of the United States Constitution states "The President shall have Power, by and with the Advice and Consent of the Senate, to make Treaties, provided two thirds of the Senators present concur".
So, where is the discussion of Senate ratification ?? NO PRESIDENT has the authority to sign a treaty and then just implement it without the Senate ratifying it !!!
The other question that no one asks is how will this treaty be implemented and how much will the cost of electricity and goods rise to meet this goal ?? How many jobs will be lost ?? If the goals are met what effect will this have on the environment ??
Politics aside, these things need to be debated in the Senate and a vote held. If Obama attempts to implement this without Senate approval, that is a clear violation of the Constitution and grounds for impeachment.

It was courageous for her to be so open about this and it is about time that this country has the discussion on this issue. Everyone is going to die..it is just a question of when and how. We as a culture watch our dearest loved ones die in horrible pain and torment yet would NEVER subject our pets to the same thing because it is cruel !! Then some clergy who supposedly represent Jesus who was/is the epitome of compassion say that it is somehow good to suffer and die horribly in pain and wait for a miracle that isn't going to happen ??? There was no hope for her--she was dying and was losing her mind and dignity. If I was in her shoes, I would have done the same thing.

Boohoo for this criminal who was not an American citizen, faced charges in Liberia if he had lived for lying about being exposed to Ebola and leaving the country and lying to enter the U.S. He then exposed countless people to Ebola and was given excellent care before he succumbed to the disease. Now his family is angling to file a lawsuit !!!  This is what's wrong with this country and I'm sorry he died but this guy who knowingly spread Ebola to others is no different than those with Aids who knowingly spread it to others---a bad person and a criminal whose family doesn't deserve a dime !!!

Sure, let's make it easier to "vote often and vote multiple times". These "easy voter" laws have led to massive voter fraud in recent years. In my opinion, you must be a verified U.S. citizen before you are registered to vote, it must be verified that you are only registered to vote in 1 place (sorry New Yorkers who vote in both places every election), picture ID must be shown before voting and electronic voting machines should be banned. In addition, each precinct and counting place has observers from the two major parties and at least one 3rd party.
If they did that then voter fraud would end and the citizen's votes would actually matter again (unlike now where it is a sick joke and voter fraud is rampant).
